Onboard carbon capture and storage (OCCS)
Onboard carbon capture and storage (OCCS) systems are a potentially important technical solution to contribute to the reduction of GHG emissions in shipping. A variety of technologies have been developed, but all OCCS processes result in removal and storage of CO2 from ship exhaust for later deposit or utilization.
